1. Why was Toy Story 5 so freaking cute? Would def 1. Why was Toy Story 5 so freaking cute? Would definitely recommend. 2. Disclosure Day was okay but I’m glad I saw it. I feel like it was pretty accurate in its portrayal of humanity. 3. Literally never used body shimmer in my life. Perfect for Vegas summers. 4. The @lvccld library reading challenge has been so fun for me and my toddler. Looking forward to earning some prizes for reading. 5. BEEF’s new season might be better than the first. My 3 year old told me to Netflix cheat on my husband last night. She said I should watch it so she could stay up late. 😅😅😅 What’s been worth it for you this summer?

I was so excited to photograph my ethically made bag from Everlane…. a “radically transparent brand.” In 2020, “the Ex-Wives Club” shared a doc called Everlane’s Convenient Transparency with accusations of Everlane union busting and being anti-Black. I stopped supporting the brand after that. I do not know if the brand ever made impactful changes or met their demands. Here we are in 2026 and Everlane has soldout to the ultrafashion brand Shein for $100 million. It’s disappointing when a brand you think is doing the good work turns out to be a facade…or turns out to care about profits over people. Our individual actions matter but the system is the real problem. So let this be a reminder for us all to fight for meaningful change and legislation in the fashion industry because I’m guessing this isn’t the only brand Shein plans to purchase.
